Check out this new advertisement from nokia for its N82 phone. I’m not too sure bout whether the phone is good or not, but one thing for sure is the ad is simply awesome. At least that’s what I feel. The idea …The concept… CUN…hahaha.. I’ve always been in awe of those who come up with these brilliant ideas and concept for advertisements. I think they’ve got to be some of the most creative people out there who are constantly thinking outside of the box. They can simply make something seem so interesting sometimes or really make u laugh or really make u think. Another ad of nokia’s which I think is really good as well was the ad for the N95. For those who haven’t seen it yet. Then be prepared to be entertained by a story..



On a different note, I’m not sure how many of you’ll read a particular column in The Star newspaper. Although lately I’m starting to believe most of our local newspapers are sometimes pro-government, there is one column by a certain lady named Dina Zaman. The title of her column is “ A Writer’s Life” and it comes out every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. And the section it is in the newspaper is towards the end of the paper somewhere near the World section. She’s one of those who I believe is a realist in a certain sense and a modern thinker . And her articles are truthful and I think that’s what is important . It tells of things that are relevant to us Malaysians and it sheds light on things some of us try to remain ignorant on.I’ve been following her articles since I think around Merdeka time last year and I feel it’s a pretty darn good read. So read up on the article when it comes to the 1st and 3rd Thursday or if you are the hardworking type, maybe you can go and rummage through that stack of old newspapers and get a good read.

the new year...

Is the year 2008 a year full of promise?? I believe so… every year is actually a year of promise.. a better tomorrow.. a better us… but the only difference between it being a year that has delivered its promise or not is whether we try to make the change for the better.. it all needs effort… I feel if we try to make a difference.. for us as individuals, families, societies and others in need .. its all possible that a better tomorrow.. For me my wishes and aspirations is to keep up with what I’ve said I’d do so far in my blog.. pick up some languages, learn to swim and cook, keep fit, start something to get a side income.. another thing I wanna do is give back to society or those who need it.. at one time I needed help.. I asked and asked and asked.. few times I didn’t receive what I asked.. I wondered why am I not being given the opportunity that I so desperately need.. sometimes I got frustrated and angry but then my chance came.. I seized upon it and made the best out of it.. my fren once said a long time ago.. sometimes god is toyin with u… like swinging a piece of meat in front of a dog for a while before actually giving it to u.. but the important thing is he does give it to u in the end..somehow.. it may not be exactly what u want.. but its something better than nothing..and if u really want something that u didn’t exactly get.. you can work towards it with the foundation that you have received.. the thing is we need to seize upon opportunity that is given to us.. something else I need to do this year is like I said before give back… just read another article that I feel is awesome.. the opportunity this guy has open up for others.. Gary Kleynhans from south Africa who’s a surfer.. he conducts free surf classes for kids who are poor… and he says through surfing, he can teach them bout discipline, punctuality and most importantly respect..he helps them get part time jobs as well ..and I think its really great what he’s doin..giving back.. there’s one line that he said that I think all of us should think bout.. "This world is stuffed because everyone just takes and takes and takes," says Kleynhans. "If everyone keeps taking, it's going to get worse and worse. Christmas is upon us ..well at least those in Malaysia.. others may already be celebrating and to some it maybe more than 8 hours away from it… Well basically just wanna wish everyone a Merry Christmas.. May you’ll be happy and may good tidings come… and don’t forget the true meaning of Christmas.. the gift of hope and belief .. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL!!

oredom...that's what i'm goin through at the moment..Some will say that they want that boredom..especially those preparing for exams and all or busy with work … true true.. but I guess if u were stuck in my situation u would say the exact same thing…. However it can partially be my fault at the same time.. I’m not taking the initiative to do anything e.g. work.. And my super list of things to do hasn’t really materialized.. except maybe the staying fit and swimming part… besides that..chinese,espanyol,hokkien lessons haven’t really taken off either.. simply put I’m lazy..hahaha.. and I need to do something bout it.. days basically consist of being a couch potato…and sitting in front of the tv.. every week I just look forward so much to someone telling me “ hey got football today evening at 5..can u come??” or my neighbour telling me “ tomorrow got swimming in the morning”… my days in the week go on day by day waiting and anticipating the next time I can play football or go for my swimming lessons.. hahaha… football has got me so addicted.. and swimming is starting to get to me too.. I mean part of its appeal is tat I desperately wanna learn how to swim..and I love holidays involving beaches and islands and so on.. and by knowing how to swim …I can really enjoy.. and if of course there’s an emergency and I need to know how to swim to avoid drowning..it’ll come in handy too.. hahaha.. and its great fun too.. Well besides that xmas is coming up.. woohooo… it’s the season to be jolly.. I know a great way everyone can be happy…it’s a surefire way that’s confirmed to work..Do something good for someone else.. be it someone u know or someone you might not know.. or someone who needs it…tat way.. u’ll be happy and feel good bout urself..and u’ll make another person happy too.. win win situation.. Besides that found another 2 bands that I think sounds pretty good… check them out.. one Malaysian band and another Singaporean band.. Deserters … and another one is … Caracal… check out their myspace pages or maybe their sites at channel v amp… nice tunes.. check them out..oh ya Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha also to all muslims as well.. sorry it may be a day late…well that’s all I can think bout today.. and I’m missing u suzhen.. have fun in spain… last minute addition ..something i read from a website.. it's by an entrepreneur named Courtney Kingston who started her own vineyard and is doin quite well at the moment at seems..and she said "I think everybody should figure out a way to follow a dream. Go right, go left, go straight. Just make sure you go forward." ... i think this is the way to go in succeeding in life ... in doin something others may doubt or u really want to do.. one of the thing s i wanna start in 2008 has to be a business of some sort or a way of generating side income for myself..

I actually posted an article b4 this but once i thought bout it..figured i better take it down....Basically i just wanted to say i hope for a better tomorrow... a better world.. better steps to curb the climate change.. more freedom of speech.. more peace in the world.. less wars and less poverty.. a more just environment.. faith,belief and hope....

money makes the world go around..

Money makes the world go around? Not really in my opinion.. It makes me have a headache.. As much as people tend to say money can’t buy you happiness, I tend to disagree most of the time.. Maybe out of a 10 times if someone were to tell me money doesn’t get you happiness I would agree once..or at most twice.. Honestly I would love to agree more.. but I can’t.. sometimes when you’re short on cash that you desperately need, one tends to get worked up and thinking of how to make more money to cover for that extra one needs.. In the end only leading to unwanted stress and worrying into the night.. What I’m trying to say is We need to save… seriously.. cut down on spending on unnecessary things.. spend on what is needed.. no matter how many times I told myself before not to spend unnecessarily.. but then at that moment I had the extra cash.. so I thought why not… no problem ma.. haha..but then there may come another time later on, when that extra money accumulated would help a lot.. haha.. So when u can save, save… but that does not mean you can’t buy something that you really want or treat yourself to something once in a while ..no harm in that.. So try putting aside abit every month.. sikit sikit lama lama jadi bukit.. though lama make take a long time.. u never know when it can help.. I’m thinking bout putting aside some money to help the less fortunate as well .. donations and sort.. I think it’s a good thing to do.. I’ve a few frens who do that.. and I think it’s really good of them.. and I think it’s bout time I give back something.. though it may not be hell of a lot.. but still it’s a start.. I think this holidays even though it’s just started, has given lots of time to think bout stuff.. And I’m determined to improve… be a better person.. gain more knowledge..well you know the drill I’m sure.. So I’ve got a new thing on my list of things to do.. Manage my funds better ..and also start giving back to society.. Furthermore ,with it being Christmas and all.. It’s the season of giving..
